Murilo Romao had this last batch of photos shot by Ricardo Napoli a couple months ago. Murilo brought good times while skating around the city, he was always hyped to be checking out new spots and skate anything and everything he could. Him and Felipe were both on the program to make the most out of their skate trip form Sao Paulo, Brazil here to New York and they definitely put in the work to show it. Below we got a poppy frontside flip for you shot on a clear day in Astoria, Queens.

Nick Zizzo — Same day, same place

Gainesville, FL is well known for the spots at the University of Florida, but not a lot of people know that the Community College on the North end of town has a lot of great stuff too. And the main things it has going is that it’s all covered and it takes a while for security to make it’s way around to find you, all of which makes it a great rainy weekend spot. This day was one of those, we must have had 6 cars full of homies in town and once it started raining we all headed there.

There was a great 4 or 5 person session going down on this rail, and I was filming a line with someone else at the time but I took 5 minutes to snap a few photos. Not sure that this photo does the trick justice, the rail is really super close to the wall and not exactly low. By the time security finally caught up with us, the rail looked like someone had been beating on it with a sledge hammer and was being held into the wall by two screws.

Unlike the rail, Nick was the only one skating this wall. He landed his wallride in about 3 tries and then went on to do at least 8 more, giving everybody around plenty of time to film, get photos, and instagram it.

Rafael Gomes smith grind SKATE Brazil cover

Rafael Gomes with 5BORO just released a pro deck in Brazil that was presented at the Agenda Trade Show 2012 in Long Beach, California. Rafael was the best skater in 2010, elected by the Cemporcento Skate Magazine in Brazil.

Renato Custodio shot the magazine cover with the smith grind in NJ and Rodrigo Petersen shot the board preview at the Agenda show. From his past visit up to NYC he got down on a couple photos with the homie Ricardo Napoli also.

This lipslide with ease is in Astoria, Queens shown below and a backside noseblunt from flat under the BQE last, a usual spot for the New York winter months.

This street gap in Orlando is kind of crazy. Right in the middle of downtown, on the main strip, uphill runway. And the gap is the entrance to a parking garage so the security guard tends to run you down pretty quick. Not to bust on Dante, but somehow OG Orlando skate ninja Freddy Tan managed to backside flip it. Check out the spot next time you’re in downtown O-town. -Scott Kramer

The dot got love for a New York/New Jersey filmer Nick von Werssowetz who moved his body to SF, but still kept filming as they say “New York style”. And the VHS camera is making a comeback. What can we say, some young folks like old janky clunky things. The VX and the VHS make for a better baby. We posted some photos of Murilo in Astoria a while back when he was visiting from Brazil. Now we got some more from that same trip, a switch backside tailside at the courthouse in NYC and a wallride in the Bronx. He just had this video for a competition in Brazil for the best skateboarder and filmer at the local square as well… the competition is run by Converse and called my square 2011.

Nolan Lee PRO for POW!!

He’s been making his mark in NYC for the last decade killing it on the skateboard and just living true to himself, congratulations Nolan! The aftermidnight store just got updated with some really clean stuff, there’s a new coaches jacket that is perfect for this crazy winter that is inevitable. AM also came out with two color options for their New Yorkers New Era cap, the hooded pullover, and a strong flannel available in one color with nice accents.

This diverse Flannel has a very sturdy collar, script writing above “pen pocket” on the upper left chest, a faux suede material over the elbows and shoulders, and back neck that compliment the flannel print absolutely perfect, making this not your average flannel tee. - am aftermidnight

You can also stop into Coat of Arms and grab all the after midnight stuff there if your around 43 Clinton street in the LES. We also dropped them some [dot] tees and hardware so they’ll be stocked with what it [dot] be as well.

Joe here has a knack for finding the most random objects to skate. I feel like every time I’ve seen a photo of him, he was doing a wacky trick on some wacky object getting wacky props. This is just on a cruise around day. He brought us to this emergency post (How the hell did it even get mangled like that? It’s not even in a place to get hit by a car?!?!?) and threw this out there.
