You know whats funny about NYC? It’s the finding of random shit on the crusty streets that makes you just wanna have a 2 hour sesh on what others finds as garbage. Well like the saying goes, one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure, and as you can tell from these flicks, this was totally a gem of a find! I guess the school this was in front of got tired of it’s dilapidated floors and threw it out for us to skate as a nice quarter pipe! Oh yes, it surely was janky as well, but it didn’t stop Jake Lamagno and Bill Pierce from going in on this ridiculous find. It makes me smile to be a part of what street skating really is… balls to the wall, creative approaches to things you will never find in your local skatepark… well unless it’s a park built right in the middle of Chinatown. (LES park doesn’t count.) -Darnell Scott
